About the Journal
Syaikhuna: Jurnal Pendidikan dan Pranata Islam (p-ISSN: 2086-9088; e-ISSN: 2623-0054) is a peer-reviewed, open-access journal published by Institut Agama Islam Syaichona Mohammad Cholil, Bangkalan, East Java, Indonesia. It is published twice annually, in March and October, and provides a scholarly platform for research and academic discussion in the fields of Islamic education, Islamic studies and thought, Islamic institutions and society, Sharia and Islamic law, and language and Islamic learning. Syaikhuna welcomes original and rigorous research employing qualitative, quantitative, mixed-methods, historical, philosophical, comparative, and conceptual approaches. The journal seeks to advance scholarly understanding of contemporary issues in Islamic education and Muslim societies, including developments in educational institutions, Islamic thought, learning practices, Islamic law, and the relationship between Islamic traditions and contemporary social and educational change.
