3. Detailed Section Guidelines
A. Title, Author Names, and Affiliations
  • Title: Must be direct, concise, and straightforward, ranging from 5 to 12 words.
  • Author Names: Must be written in full without any academic titles or degrees.
  • Affiliations: The institutional address and an active correspondence email address for each author must be provided.
B. Abstract and Keywords
  • Abstract Layout: Written in standard English with enhanced spelling, formatted with a 1 cm indentation on both the left and right margins.
  • Formatting: Use Book Antiqua, size 11, single (1.0) spacing, with a word count of 150 to 200 words.
  • Required Content: The abstract must clearly state the study's goals, problems, methods, and results.
  • Keywords: Provide 3 to 5 core, essential, or fundamental concepts from the article, arranged in alphabetical order.
C. Introduction
  • Formatting: Starts without indentation using Book Antiqua, size 11, bold capital letters. Inside the body text, subheadings must be separated by a maximum of two spaces.
  • Required Content: The introduction must clearly address:
    1. The Crucial Issue: What makes the research phenomenon (whether quantitative, qualitative, or both) essential to publish?
    2. Literature Review & Novelty: Explain what other researchers have already written and identify what has not yet been addressed to justify the necessity of this study.
    3. Specific Research Objective: Define the precise focus of the paper and how it completes the shortcomings of existing literature.
    4. Hypothesis/Argument: State the core argument or hypothesis that the paper aims to test and prove.
D. Method
  • Formatting: Written in structured paragraph form, consisting of exactly three paragraphs.
  • Required Content: The methodology must provide a focused, practical, and operational description of the field procedures, including:
    • The research type and approach (e.g., referencing Creswell).
    • Research timeframe and location.
    • Data collection techniques (interviews, observations, and documentation).
    • Key informants and data sources.
    • Data analysis techniques explained operationally.
E. Results and Discussion
  • Findings: Authors should present original and significant field data gathered from questionnaires, surveys, documents, interviews, or observations. This section can utilize subheadings and be supplemented with tables or graphics to clarify the outcomes.
  • Analysis/Discussion: Data must be interpreted using specific analytical techniques and processed through the lens of specific theories, integrated with the researcher's original insights. The discussion must robustly elaborate on previous research and theories, clearly establishing the implications and recommendations for future academic studies.
F. Conclusion
  • Formatting: Written clearly and succinctly without indentation, using Book Antiqua, size 11.
  • Required Content: The conclusion must:
    • Summarize the primary research results and outline the logical consequences of these findings in advancing the science and praxis of Islamic education.
    • Detail the most critical or surprising finding that was only discovered after the study was conducted.
    • Frankly state the limitations of the research (e.g., restricted sample sizes, limited cases, narrow variations, specific geographical locations, gender/age gaps, or methodological constraints).
    • Provide recommendations to accommodate future research for a deeper and more comprehensive understanding.
G. Acknowledgement (Optional)
  • Used to express formal gratitude to official institutions or individuals who acted as donors, sponsors, or major contributors to the research. It must be completed with the official research grant scheme or contract letter number (e.g., funding from the Ministry of Religious Affairs).

  • There must be one blank line of space above and below the equation before the text resumes
5. Arabic-Latin Transliteration Guidelines
The journal adopts the Library of Congress model for Arabic-to-Latin transliteration.
  • Consonants & Vowels: Standard consonant characters (e.g., th = ث, = ح, sh = ش, = ص, = ض, = ط, = ظ, = ع) must be consistently applied.
  • Short Vowels: a (َ), i (ِ), u (ُ).
  • Long Vowels: ā (ـَا), ī (ـِـى), ū (ــُـو).
  • Diphthongs: ay (أيّ), aw (ـَـو).
  • Ta Marbūthah (ة): Transliterated with or without an "h" (e.g., Ahliyyah or ahliyya). However, if it forms the first part of a construct phrase, it must be transliterated as a "t" (e.g., Sūrat al-Baqarah).
  • Alif-Lām (ال): Transliterated as al- (e.g., al-Baqarah). If it occurs after a preposition, it must be transliterated as l- (e.g., Ahl as-sunnah wa’l-jamā‘ah).
  • Qur’anic Verses: Must be transliterated phonetically, directly following their spoken pronunciation (e.g., Yā ayyuha’n-nās or Dhālika’l-kitābu lāraiba fīh)
