THE INFLUENCE OF PARENTING PATTERNS IN FORMING CHILDREN'S RELIGIOUS CHARACTER

Abstract

This study aims to find out, the obedience of adolescents in worship in lingga tiga village, bilah hulu district, labuhanbatu regency, to find out the obedience of adolescents in worship in lingga tiga village, bilah hulu district, labuhanbatu regency, to find out whether there is a significant influence of parental parenting on the obedience of adolescents in worship in lingga tiga village, bilah hulu district, labuhanbatu regency. This type of research is in the form of Quantitative Research. With a total population of 105 teenagers in Lingga Village. Meanwhile, the sampling technique uses the purposiv sampling technique where the sample is all adolescents of Lingga Tiga village (pre test and post test) totaling 105 people. Data collection is carried out by observation and documentation methods. The influence of parental parenting on the obedience of children’s worship in Lingga Tiga Village, obtained the results of p-value significance, permissive parenting on R obtained the significance results of p = 0.006, democratic parenting on the obedience of adolescent worship obtained the significance results of p = 0.001, authoritarian parenting on the obedience of adolescent worship obtained the results of significance p = 0.000. and the results of the significance of parenting on the obedience of worship of adolescents were obtained with the significance of p = 0.000. Based on the results of the significance of p-value (<0.05) which means that Ha is accepted and Ho is rejected, in other words there is an influence of parental parenting (X) on the obedience of worship (Y) of adolescents in Lingga Tiga Village, Bilah Hulu District, Labuhanbatu Regency.
